November 3rd, 2024 was one of THE most fun wedding events that we have had at Upstate Indie Weddings. Held at the historic 500 Pearl and featuring 40 of the best wedding pros in the area, we all collectively had a"date night" and celebrated all the engagements all night long!
Upon entering the venue, guests were greeted by a gorgeous balloon display courtesy of All the Embellishments as well as a complimentary swag bag tote. Vendors including caterers, florists, apparel, planners, decor just to name a few filled both The Forbes Theater and The Grand Aeries Ballroom with "mini-boutiques" to showcase their products and services.
Guests enjoyed champs and cocktails thanks to the catering staff at 500 Pearl as well as an table full of yummy appetizers from both 500 Pearl and Farmhouse Table, while Mercedes Dessert Bar and Sweet Em's provided guests with a little sweet treat while they walked around the ballrooms.
In addition to mingling with the wedding vendors, we had plenty of fun activities as well! AJ Custom Suits hosted a friendly game of cornhole, Canalside Caricatures drew couples on the spot and Moving Music had a photobooth to snag a memory of the evening.
At 6pm, guests gathered in The Forbes Theater to watch our incredible models strut their stuff showing off the latest in bridal dress trends from Bridal Chateau and New Ivory Bridal. Huge thank you to our incredible glam staff Aesthetics by Alexandria, Root & Bloom Salon, Kaleigh Ann Cleveland and Studio M Hair Salon. Big hugs to Dj Tori Vee for spinning THE best playlist for the entire show. The "Love Story" Remix from T. Swift had everyone dancing, from the floor to the balcony!
Our newest addition to our Wedding Shows, The Marketplace, was a huge success! Our shoppable wedding experience featured The Lounge Shop with bride gear, Espesyal Designs with handmade, custom wedding jewelry and Cottage Bloom Candles with a wedding inspired candles collection.
At the end of the evening, we donated 10% of our ticket sales to the PUNT Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, an organization doing necessary and beautiful work in our community.
