Restored Buffalo Gem Serves as Luxe, Historic Wedding Venue

Originally a movie house designed by Michael Shea in the 1920's, The Show at Shea’s Seneca is a lavish restoration of a national landmark and now serves as a historic wedding venue event space. With deep-rooted cultural significance, this building has stood on Seneca Street as a symbol of timeless "Old Buffalo"architecture and has been a beloved and defining landmark for a century.



Stepping into the beautifully renovated lobby space with its checkered floor, floor to ceiling antiqued mirrors, stunning chandeliers and handcrafted gilded mouldings, the stage has been set for an event that is sure to be remembered.

The luxe bar area with its heavy wood detail, oversized paintings and marble hightop tables is the the perfect place to get the party started. The Show at Shea's Seneca offers several customizable bar packages, offering locally made beers and craft spirits, to housemade infusions for signature cocktails and mocktails.

In addition, the venue also offers a contemporary grand ballroom with lush drapery and modern lighting, two private dressing spaces for the couple, an art gallery and an outdoor patio.
