"Venue books up very quickly, make sure you contact them as soon as you are interested in securing a date! The staff was fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were very thorough, the decor meeting and the meeting the week of the wedding were the best. I felt very confident handing off everything to Charlie and Mike, they made the room look beautiful and added some extra touches that fit with the theme that I didn't know were options! All of the guests raved about the food quality and portions, and the outside Courtyard room was a big hit. "

"I cannot imagine an easier wedding venue to work with than Christa and Roman at the Buffalo history museum! Every vision or change we had was done seamlessly. We are so thankful for the fabulous experience!!!  Note - the museum is not air conditioned and we got married in a heat wave… there is a lot of outdoor space but something to consider."

"My husband and I knew immediately that the Buffalo History Museum was going to be our wedding venue reception. The staff was personable, and the location was absolutely romantic. There were a few coordinator changes throughout the wedding planning process, however, Christa did a wonderful job of meeting our expectations.
We were able to drop-off our decorations in the parking lot the day of our wedding. I really appreciated being able to come in ahead of time to do a few mock-setups, since we DIY'd most of our decorations. We also appreciated that the museum was giving of decorations/extras without the "a la carte" pricing that exists with wedding vendors nowadays. The pricing was fair and honest, which sealed the deal for us. In addition, they really treated our decorations and glass items with care after the wedding. That takes a bit of extra time, however, we noticed this. After the wedding, Christa shared her honesty regarding a couple vendors that disappointed us as well. We appreciated the hard work, commitment to quality service and care in helping us achieve the vision. The food, venue and staff are still talked highly of from our friends/family, even 6 months later. Though it was a sweltering day in August, the space served us perfectly. Kudos to Christa and the staff!"
