The Seager Marine is not your typical marina. Since 1967, it’s offered boat sales, storage and dockage. It expanded to include boat rentals, captained cruises and excursions, kayak and SUP rentals. Recently, they transformed their 1,740 sq. ft indoor rental space into a spectacular wedding venue, with views overlooking Canandaigua Lake. The space also includes access to an additional deck and docks, giving an upfront view of the lake that can accommodate up to 50 people. It’s a dream for couples who love the water.

Couples can bring 100 of their closest friends and family for a memorable celebration on the water. Adventure & events director Jennifer Hess is no stranger to the wedding industry. In 2019, she sold her yoga company Finger Lakes Yogascapes and transitioned to the BoatHouse Club at Seager Marine to show off the beauty Canandaigua offers. Along with her professional experience, Jen also has a deep love for nature, which is probably why she finds herself connecting couples to it so often.
Having a hard time figuring out your stag & stagette? Seager Marine can help plan and execute a memorable party. The captained experience is entirely customizable and includes half or full-day excursions on the water. Tubing? Kayaking? Jen takes care of everything, just tell her which activities are top of the list. She can also organize a whiskey or wine tasting. Although guests have the option to bring their food, Seager Marine also provides food from Macri’s Deli. Dream up the event and she’ll make it happen!
Enjoy a captained sunset cruise, where everyone can relax on the water. They offer cruises for up to 10 people or individual tickets, and it’s a BYOS (bring your own snack) situation.
