After 13 years as professional photographers, Alexandra and her husband Michael were so excited to follow their dream of owning their own wedding venue! This husband and wife reside in Rochester, but the Fingers lakes have always had a special place in their hearts. “Every year at least 97% of the weddings we photograph are in the finger lakes. It has been calling to us for so long now”. Once they found the perfect spot, they put every last penny they had into making The Seneca Ridge come to life. “Every drop of paint, every chair, every painting on the walls was chosen by us”. This couple designs everything from the ceremony layout to the cocktail hour.
The Seneca Ridge may be a new venue, but these seasoned professionals ensure you will not find two people more dedicated to making your wedding day successful. “We are people that truly love and believe in this industry, and are so excited, genuinely, to do all the RIGHT things for our couples.” One thing Alexandra & Michael noticed over the years is venues that can’t cater to the ideas of the client. Seneca Ridge wants to give their client’s a place where they make it their own, and be themselves. “We don’t believe that weddings “have to be” what they’ve always been. You don’t have to follow the “rules” that society has created for your wedding day.”
Now that the Seneca Ridge is up and running Alexandra & Michael have one motto: Treat your family and guest like family! “We love our family more than anything, and want to treat your family, and your friends, the same way we would want to be treated on such a monumental day.”

The house dates back to the 19th century and features many attractive elements such as the stable barn, farmland, and beautifully decorated interiors. Five acres of idyllic fields and mature trees are sprawled out as far as the eye can see, enchanting all who visit this luxury hideaway venue. Just 8 minutes from downtown Geneva, the property promises the best of both worlds with its rugged countryside setting and urban amenities. Couples can enjoy a romantic few days before the ceremony, taking in the sights and visiting local wineries and breweries, setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend of celebrating.

“Love is our favorite thing,” Alexandra says. “We are hopeless romantics, and really really want to bring this day to life for you. We put every last penny we had to our names into the purchase of this property and all the changes we have made. It is a true labor of love, blood, sweat, and tears. We are really really excited for others to see what makes it so magical!”
“We always have always will support the LGBTQ community. Love is love is love!!!” The Seneca Ridge is a community of open arms and equal treatment. This duo is not afraid to go to bat for their clients. They will not stand for (or work with) other vendors that treat them poorly or unjust. “A foe to this community is a foe to us.”
