Hello Buffalo! I’m so excited to be a member of Buffalo Indie Weddings, rep’ping your sister city, Rochester! I started my business after getting my Bachelors of Fine Art from RIT, and it’s been an incredible journey. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing clients, and it’s been so fun to share my own journey planning my own wedding!
I’ve talked a lot about planning your engagement photos – what to wear, what to do, finding the perfect photographer, and I’m excited to have Mary Doughtery here to share some really fun unique ideas for doing a themed photoshoot! I am so glad to have met Mary this year, she’s so kind and a total rockstar photographer. Her and her couples have some pretty spectacular ideas for how to spend the day together.
Blueberry picking? How perfect! Depending on where you’re located – you could strawberry pick, apple farms in the fall, blueberry picking or the like!
If you follow me at Sugar and Type, you probably know biking is a huge part of my husband and my lifestyle. Taking a bike ride for your engagement session is right on, and works with so many styles!
I can’t even… these photos are so whimsical, romantic and soft, and I’m totally in love with it.
Does your family own a barn? Playing with baby animals is always swoon worthy. I love the rustic but soft and sweet vibe Mary captured here.
Holy Glam!!! Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and do something out of the ordinary! These images are stunning and so unique!
I love how all of these images tell a story. Maybe you’ve gone to where you’ve had your first date, or your favorite place to visit. Even if it’s a totally random location, these pictures tell a story of your relationship, and make for wonderful memories.
Mary – thank you so much for sharing – you and your brides seriously nailed it!
Don’t miss our next bridal show on March 1st at The Foundry Suites in Buffalo NY!
