“Beau & I are getting married this August in the Crystal Ballroom at the Hotel Lafayette, and the big party afterward will be at Larkin Square. We were one of the first tenants to live in the Hotel when it opened in May 2012.
“We both grew up in Niagara County, so Buffalo has always been our home. Beau lived in Los Angeles, CA while attending college and myself in Erie, PA, but we found each other while back home in the area. We had this feeling Buffalo would be taking its renaissance seriously, so we decided to make it our home! Beau moved to the hotel May 2012 and I followed suit in November from PA. We volunteer for city events and preservation, attend as many restaurant openings as we can, ride our bikes from downtown to Elmwood and the Outer Harbor, and run the social media platform The Buffalovebirds. We love telling friends & family (and strangers) about the city and everything it has to offer. It is truly an incredible place to be right now as everything takes shape once again!
