Maison Albion is a historic mansion reimagined to host magnificent weddings and events. The 1878 wedding venue is located in Albion, New York, and is accompanied by a breathtaking ballroom and parklike grounds reminiscent of a late 19th Century French cottage. Visitors are transported to a time of luxurious craftsmanship, baroque decadence, and lavish celebrations when they visit Maison Albion.

The English Country gardens welcome guests to stroll and lounge on the manicured lawn. Those who visit can enjoy a picnic on the Great Lawn, indulge in a romantic dinner in the Secret Garden, or cozy up with a beloved in a handcrafted rowboat floating gently in the pond. Guests also have the option to stay overnight in one of the four exquisitely decorated guest bedrooms with access to amazing restaurants, hotels and businesses in minutes of the property!

Meet the family

It’s a family affair! Husband and wife Cole and Kerri Glover co-own and run Maison Albion with Kerri’s brother, Michael Bolster. With over 20 years of hospitality and customer service experience, the three know how to put lavish weddings together.

In 1999, Kerri started her first wedding planning company. Over time, the company grew to be the largest wedding and event planning agency in Colorado. During this time, Kerri also built, designed, and launched thirteen wedding venues across the country for other investors. She used her wedding experience and business background to create spaces couples would enjoy sharing with their guests to create meaningful memories.

In 2016, Kerri sold her company. Cole took his 15 years of sales experience and applied it to their new shared venture, Flourish. From Hawaii to New York, their clients benefit from their strong skills because they actually know what they’re talking about and know how to direct couples.

When the opportunity to purchase the former “Pillars Estate” in Albion, the Glovers partnered with Kerri’s brother Michael to purchase and renovate the property to become Maison Albion.

Meet the venue

The mansion is a classy lady that’s focused on creating pretty spaces for perfect parties but likes to let her hair down and have fun without a lot of regulations and rules. In short, she’s the perfect girl. The owners want couples to have a good time. Couples have room to make executive decisions like where they get married on the property, how to hold the cocktail hour and reception, etc. Couples also have free rein to use whichever vendors they want. Though, they do have a curated list of vendors if you’re starting without any ideas of who you’d want. Think big! Llamas at the party? Why not? Glamping on the Great Lawn? Oh hell yes! Their motto is: couples should have the freedom to design their day how they see fit, and Maison Albion will be the beautiful backdrop to it!

Take a tour

For couples, after stalking their socials and website, it’s important to schedule a site tour. One because viewing the space is critical, but two, because this venue is so damn gorgeous. More than 40 artists curated pieces, unlike most venues. The owners acquired the chandelier, sconces and lamps from the royal suite at the Waldorf Astoria in New York to bring the romance of that hotel to Maison Albion. The wallpaper is hand-painted gold on silk. The French newspaper in the bathroom is antique and hand-applied. The moldings in the Bridesmaids’ Suite are also handpainted. Even the gardens were designed so there’s an abundance of color from April through October. The large ballroom is air-conditioned and heated, making year-round events for up to 300 possible a comfortable possibility. Everything at Maison Albion is handmade and crafted with much thought and care.

Feel like home

Maison Albion is a historic mansion reimagined to host magnificent weddings and events, but also some of your guests. They offer four lovely bed and breakfast rooms for an on-site, overnight stay. Maybe it’s parents from out-of-town or the wedding party to keep close. For more out-of-town guests, the new CobbleStone Inn is a quick nine minutes away, with 50 additional hotel rooms. All of the wedding guests can stay in one spot, making life more convenient for everyone!

Together, the team has over 40 years of wedding and events experience. They hold their couple’s hands all the way through the wedding day. They assist with vendor recommendations, floor plan design, and more to make planning an easy and fun experience. Kerri has produced over 1,000 weddings and can give a unique perspective that can only come from a seasoned pro.
