Lovely Bride Rochester’s “Hello Lovely” neon welcome sign.
Meet Katie!
People often ask Katie, owner of Lovely Bride Rochester “Why did you decide to open Lovely in Western New York?” “Why not?” she responds, “Don’t girls everywhere need cool wedding dresses?” Where’s the lie? As the OG indie bridal shop, est. in 2010, Lovely Bride redefined the wedding dress shopping experience by being the first to stock undiscovered designers that offered the freshest bridal fashion.
Lovely Bride is special because Katie feels honored every time a bride shops with them! She cares about every person who visits them. Every day she arrives at the shop hoping to make the wedding dress experience as fun and easy as possible. To accomplish this, she challenges her team to live up to the standard of being the most exclusive, INCLUSIVE bridal shop in the area.
While Lovely enjoys the benefits of being an 18-location collective, each location has a local, involved owner in the store. They’re to bring indie, sought-after designers to local brides looking for something truly different and unique. It’s what Western New York deserves!

Who are “Our Lovelies?”
They refer to brides in their bridal club as “our lovelies,” a sweet sentiment that translate to every aspect of the bridal appointment. Katie hopes that every wedding journey is as “unique and joyful as you deserve it to be!” It’s important to the bridal boutique owner that women support women and empower one another. In running a small business, Katie is able to do just that every day!
A little-known fact for some, but Lovely Bride redefined the wedding dress shopping experience by stocking undiscovered designers. These designers ended up offering the freshest bridal fashion. The original designs by ingenious designers like Alexandra Grecco, Made with Love, Lovers Society, Rue de Seine, Vagabond and Jenny Yoo are still their M.O. today. They know their lovelies deserve the real deal and want them to look their best on that special day!

Have an Intimate Moment
Part of the exclusivity Lovely Bride Rochester offers are intimate, one-on-one appointments for brides to find wedding dresses. The bride and a dedicated stylist meet and walk through the space to find the perfect selection. Lovely’s stylists are truly knowledgable, kind and empathetic. They’re with perspective brides every step of the way, ensuring they have the information needed to make an informed decision while still having a blast. (And once you say yes, they have some pretty awesome Lovely Bride swag for you to take home with you!) Who doesn’t love swag?
Above all, it’s the effort and attention to detail that gives this boutique the reputation it holds. Katie and her team give a transparent shopping experience. Their brides know details about pricing, delivery timelines and other processes throughout their appointment, leaving nothing to the imagination. The Lovely Bride goal is to be kind and respectful of every bride – not just sell them a dress. There’s a reason they’re so lovely.
Transparency is one of the most important aspects of how Katie likes to work with her brides. Lovely Bride is open and honest about pricing, sizing, alterations and timeline. They want to peel back any confusion about the process of shipping for a wedding gown. If you have a question, just ask them!
