I love creating story-telling wedding albums that capture every moment from the bridal party getting ready to the end-of-the-night kiss & everything in between. My style of shooting is best described as “creative documentary”. I love capturing sweet, intimate moments as they happen naturally: the way your sweetheart looks at you when you’re not paying attention, the proud parents, groomsmen being goofy, etc! My favorite part of every wedding is definitely the moment where excitement turns into calm when the couple first sees each other from opposite ends of the aisle. I will cry every. single. time!
I have been hooked on photography ever since I picked up my first 35mm Minolta in my high school film class. From there, I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology where I received my BFA in Professional Photographic Illustration. I think I always knew I would make a career out of this incredible, evolving art-form. I am incredibly grateful for my clients in trusting me to document one of their favorite days ever and enabling me to grow as a photographer. When I’m not shooting a wedding or portrait session, you can find me at the gym, trying out a new restaurant downtown, or at your local garden store (I am OBSESSED with plants!) Though my background is in photojournalism, I am always looking to try out new poses as well! I put a lot of time and thought into incorporating different techniques so that you don’t end up with the same “cookie-cutter” shots that everyone else has. My aim is to step out of the box and try something new at each event I shoot. At any given time, you can glance around at the reception and see me climbing on chairs or crawling around to try out different angles and shots. Your love story is beautiful and unique, so your wedding photos should be, too! All of my wedding packages are completely customized for my each clients. This way, you can choose exactly what you want as opposed to being limited to choosing from two or three pre-packaged options. Trust me, I understand that weddings are very pricey, so I keep my costs very reasonable to accommodate any budget.
