Sometimes the best inspiration comes from the local talent around us. Amy from Anomaly Photography and I got to chatting about working together on a shoot, and we were drawn to the rooftop of the Science Museum. The Museum is so special to Buffalo and so many families, so see it reimagined for your wedding! You’ll have free reign to create memorable spaces, as we did here, and your guests can enjoy the entire museum! Plus… THAT… ROOFTOP… THO. I mean the views!? Where else in the city can you get that? AND stare directly into the sun with that helioscope? That’s what I love the most about a venue like the Science Museum… you’ve got the space and freedom to be creative for your wedding, and you’re surrounded by so much fun to engage in all night long!
The Turner Construction Construct exhibit was most inspiring to us, as a totally adaptable space, so Bushel Events used it to create a hand-spun backdrop with floral accents. The rentals and florals set a moody and elegant tone, and the cake with those metallic specs adds just enough shine! You can use that area as an entryway or for gifts, desserts or even photo booth. The main event spaces at the museum are large enough to hold over 200 guests (including one mastodon!) There are so many perfect photo spots in this venue, and on top of it! Your guests can enjoy a trip to the planetarium with a cocktail, and gaze over the rooftops on the vast skyline of our dear vity!
