Going back to pre-school, Liz and James’ lives have been entwined, but it wasn’t until almost 10 years later when they realized there was a spark! These true life-long sweethearts have been together since the 8th grade, and will be saying “I do,” in Buffalo, NY this upcoming October!
The couple was spending Labor Day with his family, kayaking and picnicking, when they decided to walk through the grapevines across the street from his parents house. Catching Liz by surprise in the midst of casual conversation, James got down on one knee and proposed. Both shaking with excitement, James then placed the stunning ring on her right hand…then appropriately on her left hand! “It was very overwhelming, both of us in shock that this moment was finally happening,” Liz recalls. “James and I embraced this private, intimate moment by just holding each other. After catching our breath took a couple selfies – typical millennials, then went on to call our parents and dearest family and friends. It was truly the perfect moment, with the beautiful view of the grapevines overlooking the Buffalo skyline on a warm, sunny day, and love radiated between us. It was weekend to remember forever.“
“We were so excited to have our engagement picture session with Amy Greene from Anomaly Photography over Thanksgiving weekend. She made us feel comfortable, at ease, and like ourselves during the time of our session. We were excited by her inspiration behind the location of Silo City. We also were excited for pictures at the new ‘Greetings from Buffalo’ mural on Ellicott Street.“
